Plot

Episode 1

Hideki is rejected from college and leaves his home to go study in Tokyo for college. When he arrives, he sees a persocom for the first time, but he can't afford one. Embarrassing himself in front the building manager, he settles into his new apartment. He meets his neighbor, Shinbo, who owns a miniature persocom named Sumomo. Walking home, Hideki finds a persocom in the trash. While taking it home, he loses the programming disc. After turning it on, the only thing it can do is say "chi".
