Nate River, also known as Nate River, Is a character from the hit tv anime show, "Death Note". He is known to become L's successor and he always beats Mello (his competition) at everything. Most everyone thinks Near's legs do not work. Near's legs do work. Watch episodes 30-37 and you should see him stand up at least once or twice.
