Shezka

Shezka is a girl that used to work in the Central Library trying to pay for her mom's hospital bills. She got fired because of her constant reading instead of working. Shezka ends up being very helpful not only to the Elric Brothers, but to the military as well. The second time she's shown Ed and Al figure out that she is able to memorize books after reading them ( which ends up being extremely convenient because they needed to obtain a book by Dr.Marco that was burned in the Central library during a fight between Scar and Lust ) After having her rewrite the book ed and al introduced her to Maes who needed to recover Records lost in the fire ( yes, the military stored records in the library ) Shezka was also able to rewrite the records ( because she read them ) and Maes hired her to work for the military.
