Yeah, that's pretty much what I was saying. I already did the Tenchi Muyo catergory as "Tenchi universe", since I believe that's what it is commonly referred to as...I myself didn't watch Tenchi, and have no interest in doing so, so forgive me if that isn't correct. I also think that only the major series/movies/OVAs should get a separate article, and the minor ones can be summed up in a paragraph under a "Series" section within the main article. - [[User:Xero XIII|Xero XIII]] 21:01, 15 October 2007 (EDT) Yeah, that's pretty much what I was saying. Plus what I put there are the majors, I ignored the minors. The idea was for this to be a general page for all of the Tenchi universe, with the character Tenchi located at Tenchi Muyo, and the actual part of the universe called "Tenchi Muyo" at Tenchi Muyo. This way there is a page for the universe that can describe the similar and repeating aspects of the various series, and each series will have it's own individual page, which will be listed under a "Series" section on this page. One universe does not need a disambiguation page all it's own. They should be for things such as the name "Sakura", which appears in many, many different series.

I'll leave the links up for now so that they can be put into the article once the article is created.

Also, disambiguation pages should be titled something like "Sakura (disambiguation)", for example. - Xero XIII 20:08, 15 October 2007 (EDT)

...It would actually be nicer if we did it... the way I kinda had in my head. I mean there is NO Tenchi Muyo character, there is only Masaki Tenchi. Tenchi Muyo can be roughly translated into "No Need for Tenchi". And I edited the rest of the page before I saw this, so... -Crystalbear 20:22, 15 October 2007 (EDT)

Well, understanding that (I've never liked Tenchi, so I didn't pay that much attention), I agree that the Tenchi Muyo character article shouldn't exist. However, I have a different vision of things. If you look at the Final Fantasy article, you'll see what I was thinking of. I think the main article should encompass all aspects of the series, and if any particular production should have its own article, it should be linked to from the main article. But I really think Tenchi Muyo should not be a disambiguation page, it should be more like an actual article format. On top of that, I would then encourage a Tenchi Muyo category for all incarnations of it, to act as the sort of "index" I think you are looking for. I recognize that all of Animepedia is new, so these guidelines are going to be written as we go along, so any input you can provide concerning is absolutely welcome. -Regex 20:43, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
