Patlabor, also known as Mobile Police Patlabor, is a popular franchise in the Mecha genre. The classic franchise consists of a manga, tv series, two OVA series, three animated full-length feature films, a live-action movie soon to be released, two light novels, and a short film compilation.
The story itself centers around Noa Izumi as a bright young new member of Tokyo Metropolitan Police Special Vehicle Section 2, Division 2, her "labor" Alphonse, and the rest of her crew.
