Introduction
Black Cat is an anime/manga about a young man named Train Heartnet. Train travels with his friends Sven and Eve, as sweepers, which are some- what bounty hunters.
Plot
Train Heartnet is a former member of an orginization called Chronos, which is comprised of 'Erasers', who are people who wipe out criminals, regardless of what they did. Train used to be known as the 'Black Cat' in Chronos, and has amazing skills with a gun. Train travels with his friend Sven and a girl named Eve. They are nomads known as sweepers, who bring criminals to custody for money -- in other words, bounty hunters. While Train insists that the Black Cat 'died two years ago,' his buddies from Chronos still need his help. The Numbers, the highest ranking members of Chronos, seek him out to eliminate one called Creed, who was once a part of Chronos. Creed branched out on his own and created the 'Apostles of the Stars,' made up of those who possess Chi and are bent on the destruction of Chronos and, as a proper cliche, world domination.
Charecters
Train Heartnet
The main protagonist of the story, he was former number XIII of Chronos, and sought after for whatever reason they may have by both Chronos and Creed's Apostles of the Stars. His gunning techniques leave very little to be desired, with his orihalcum gun, Hades. When he was about ten, his parents were killed and the man who killed them taught him how to use a gun -- he didn't know why. Train has the numerals XIII tatooed just above the left part of his chest, to prove he was one of Chronos' Numbers. He is best friends with Sven and Eve.
