Azumanga Daioh (あずまんが大王: Azumanga Daio) is a shojo manga, and later an anime, on a high school girl comedy series that was originally made as a 4-panel comic manga by Kiyohiko Azuma. The story follows the everyday lives and misadventures of Yomi, Sakaki, Kagura, Osaka, Tomo and Chiyo Mihama (a ten year old prodigy in pig-tails) as they deal with classes, school activities, their teachers and themselves.
