Ai Yori Aoshi is an anime from 2002. It translates to either Bluer than Indigo or True Blue Love. The anime follows Kaoru and Aoi. The two were engaged in childhood, but when Kaoru leaves his powerful family, the engagement is called off. Aoi still wants to marry him and runs off to Tokyo to find him. Her family, in order to save face, lets Kaoru run their hotel in the area so the two can be closer to together.
