Elfen Lied is an anime series originally broadcast in 2005.

Plot

Elfen Lied follows the story of Lucy, a strange girl who has escaped from a labratory, and the two people who discovered her after her escape.

Characters

Lucy: A Strange, Young, Pink Haired, horn headed, Demon, who's only goal in life is the eradication of the human race to make room for the Diclonius. Lucy was a test subject on a top secret island, in a top secret facility that was primarily dedicated to the eradication and experimentation of Diclonius for human gain.

Nana: A strange Diclonius subject that was being held prisoner in the same island facility that lucy was in. Nana's name comes from her designation as "Number 7", Nana being the Japanese word for Seven. Nana is a strange Diclonius because she is the only Diclonius that does not hate or harm any Humans although she has every right to do so. She also believes that the Chief of the Island Facility is her father and often calls Chief Kurama her "Papa".
