Deidara is a character in Masashi Kishimoto's popular anime and manga series, Naruto. Deidara was first introduced to the series in chapter 247 of the manga, and episode 2 of Naruto Shippuden. Deidara was formerly a member of the criminal organization Akatsuki, though he originates from the Village Hidden in the Rocks, Iwagakure.

Abilities
Deidara is able to produce clay from several mouths located around his body. These mouths are located on the palms of his hands, as well as a large mouth on his chest. This clay is able to be infused with Deidara's own chakra, allowing the clay sculptures to explode at Deidara's will. The explosive level of the clay is ranked on a 1 through 4 scale. C1 being the weakest, and C4 being the strongest.
