Black Lagoon is an anime about a group of modern-day pirates, particularly hostage-turned-crew-member Rock.
General Information
Black Lagoon was produced by Madhouse and licensed in the US by Geneon. The first season had 13 episodes and was aired in 2006. The second season is still airing in Japan.

Plot
Rock, a no-name office worker from Japan is taken hostage on the East Asian seas. Rock's company abandons him to fate, but offers him an executive position when they find him alive. Rock turns the offer down to live a more exciting life pirating the seas.
