Inu Yasha

INU YASHA (usually capitalized) is a japanese anime about the young girl Kagome and the half-dog-demon Inuyasha. The girl was captured by a demon, taken down a sacred well and into feudal era Japan. There she met a Inuyasha and there the adventure takes off. Along the way, they meet up with a monk named Miroku, who is bound and determined to let every woman in Japan bear him a child, a young fox demon named Shippo, who can turn into almost anything, and Sango, a demonslayer who has the help of a two-tailed demon kitty named Kilala. They all have something in common though, they hate Naraku, an incredibly strong and vicious demon, and want him destroyed, as he is the cause of a lot of the demon activity in Japan during this time and they just want him gone.
