-Elfen Lied is an anime about a dangerously telekinetic girl with horns and her friends.+'''Elfen Lied''' is an anime series originally broadcast in 2005.
-Elfen Lied (エルフェンリート, Erufen Rīto?) is the title of a Japanese manga series originally created by Japanese author Lynn Okamoto as well as a TV anime series based on it. Elfen Lied focuses on a mysterious and deadly breed of horned humans called "diclonius", and the havoc they wreak upon humanity. The title Elfen Lied is German for "Elf Song" (see Lied), and pronounced approximately [ˈɛlfən liːt], although the correct German spelling would be "Elfenlied".+__TOC__
-Elfen Lied first began as a manga series, serialized in the magazine Weekly Young Jump and published in Japan by Shueisha, ending at the completion of the twelfth volume. An anime adaptation began airing in Japan on July 25, 2004 while the unfinished manga was still in production. This caused the anime plot to differ in some ways from the manga plot. A bonus OVA episode was released on April 21, 2005 giving some more background information.+==Plot==
-So far, only the anime series spanning 13 episodes and the OVA have been licensed in the United States, by ADV Films. ADV Films said the series was one of their bestselling[1] and "most notorious"[2] releases of 2005. Elfen Lied and the character Nana were the inspiration for the popular Clone Manga fan-webcomic "Nana's Everyday Life" which has been completed and fully translated from English into 6 other languages.+Elfen Lied follows the story of Lucy, a strange girl who has escaped from a laboratory, and the two people who discovered her (Kohta and Yuuka) after her escape.
+<!--Meh Im putting this here as well, i couldnt be bothered going through it again at the moment. Vector 1: Vector One begins in a facility on an island in the middle of the ocean. Here in this Facility lies a strange pink haired girl of 18 who has many untold secrets and many unseen weapons in her arsenal. This Pink haired girl begins the series by killing two of the security that had her "contained" and stealing the key to her restraints from one of the bodies of the dead security guards. She then makes her way towards a large armoured door where we see a mysterious dim lighted control room where there is obviously blood on the walls and the back of a shadowy figure press a button that opens the armoured door and lets this vicious pink haired killing machine on a rampage throughout the facility. We then see her exit the holding room while humming the Elfen Lied main theme "Lilium". She next encounters and finishes off four of the security personnel and then another three or four by the stairs, after another group of guards she then finds herself backed into the corner of an elevator with four security guards unloading there MP5's into the elevator, after the barrage of bullets from thier MP5's the smoke dies down and they see that none of their bullets hit the target and any that went near her were mysteriously frozen in mid air like an invisible wall was there and the bullets just fell to the ground, after that group of guards she encounters Chief Kurama, and a wall of 20 guardsmen.

-The story begins with a naked young girl named Lucy escaping under odd circumstances from an insular research facility off the coast of Kamakura in the Kanagawa Prefecture of Japan. Lucy manages to nonchalantly dismember and slay a fair number of the staff and guards with a form of seemingly supernatural power and gets outside. A sniper is seen trying to shoot her, only managing to ricochet a bullet off her metal helmet. Lucy then falls off a cliff into the sea, bleeding from her head but ultimately surviving and evading the research staff.+
+<!--Keeping this here, since the information could be put in more organized later. It begins in a instution in the middle of the ocean.
+There is something going on through the hallways of this place.
+ A girl with pink hair, she is tall, and she is eighteen.
+ She is dyclonis.(she has horns on her head)
+She walks through the facility naked killing people.
+She kills almost everybody. We learn that her name is Lucy

+head, and she walks into the ocean.
-Lucy is not a normal human but rather a diclonius: a mutant variant of humans with two small horns on their heads (hence the name diclonius) that resemble cat ears. The diclonius race possesses telekinetic powers through use of their "vectors", invisible arms that they control with a number and length of reach depending on the diclonius.+-->
-The day after Lucy's escape, a boy named Kohta arrives at Kamakura to meet his cousin Yuka. Kohta has come to study at the local university and has been given lodging at an old, family-owned inn, the "Maple (楓, Kaede?) Inn", provided he acts as the caretaker. After meeting with Yuka, they go for a visit to the beach and find Lucy washed up on the shore, still naked and bleeding from her head. The head trauma Lucy experienced causes her to develop a split personality. In stark contrast to the cold and sadistic Lucy, this personality is completely docile, harmless and is incapable at first of saying anything other than "Nyū". Not knowing what to do with her, Kohta and Yuka take her back to the inn to look after her and name her "Nyū". Yuka quickly decides that it will be best that she also live at the inn.+==Characters==
-Kohta, Nyū, and Yuka begin settling into their life at the inn and Nyū begins to dredge up painful repressed memories from Kohta's past. Meanwhile, the researchers from the laboratory where Lucy was held begin searching for her, dispatching both human and diclonius agents to hunt her down.+[[Category:Anime Series]]

+Lucy: A strange, young, pink haired, horn headed, Diclonius, who's only goal in life is the eradication of the human race to make room for the Diclonius. She can ensure that this happens with her "vectors" her telekentically controlled arms that sprout from her when she is in need of them. Lucy was a test subject on a top secret island, in a top secret facility that was primarily dedicated to the eradication and experimentation of Diclonius for human gain. When she tries to escape this facility, she murders many of the officers, which causes Chief Kurama to send a sharpshooter after her. A .50 BMG cartridge is fired into the side of her head, and an alternate personality emerges, named by Kohta and Yuka as "Nyuu," after the only word she is first able to say. She is likely to be a sadist, and does not show sympathy to anyone who has lost a loved one because of her. Although she is set on destroying the human race, she also bears old feelings of love for Kohta, however, cannot act on them because of what she has done.
-Lucy (ルーシー , Rūshī?) is a teenage diclonius girl around 18 years old, Lucy has four vectors with a limited range of two meters.[4] However, she can be swift and lethal within that range, and will use any nearby objects as high velocity projectiles to kill at greater distances. She is also capable of stopping or deflecting most standard ammunition when she concentrates on the task. Lucy hates humans mainly because of how she was treated by her human peers as a child. Consequently, she discounts non-diclonii, claiming they are not real people. She seems to lack empathy, kills without much concern, and acts somewhat sadistically. Despite this lack of concern for human life she will not harm Kohta and refrains from killing in his presence.+Nyuu: An alternate personality to Lucy, she is kind, gentle, and does not seem to be aware that she is able to use vectors. She is also unable to remember the use of language, only being able to say "nyuu" and "Kohta" when she is first found. When she is attacked, she regains the violent, destructive form of Lucy.
-Nyū (にゅう, Nyū?) is a split personality of Lucy that developed after an anti-tank rifle round ricocheted off a metallic helmet encasing her head. Nyū has a childlike personality and infantile knowledge of the world, and lacks spoken language skills. Nyū is innocent and incapable of violent acts, a foil to the normally cold and sadistic Lucy; she is the manifestation of her "good side". When Nyū is attacked violently (or hit on the head), she regresses into Lucy; likewise, when Lucy is treated with love and kindness, she will uncontrollably switch back into Nyū.+Kohta: A college boy, around nineteen years of age, who is staying in an inn that used to belong to a family member. When he first finds Lucy at the beach, she was transformed into her "Nyuu" self and he takes her into his inn, unable to discover what to do with her. Kohta feels that he has known Lucy for a very long time, however, cannot remember exactly what has happened.
-Voiced by: Sanae Kobayashi (Japanese), Kira Vincent-Davis (English)+
-Kohta (コウタ, Kōta?) is around 19 years old and enters the story when his cousin's family allows him to move in to their closed down inn in exchange for maintenance while he goes to a local university. Kohta has repressed traumatic memories of his father's and sister's deaths during his childhood at Lucy's hands. Because of his repressing his memories, Kohta does not remember Lucy from when he met her earlier as a child. Due in part to his loss, he has a soft spot for girls in trouble and is extremely generous and protective to the girls around him.+Yuka: A young woman who decides to stay with Kouta in the old inn after he takes Nyuu into his home. She has been in love with Kouta since they were children, however he does not notice this in the beginning. Her feelings for Kohta tend to make her jealous, especially when Kohta begins to take many people into the inn, all of them being girls. Nevertheless, she acts as a mother figure to all these people, and treats them like family.
-Voiced by: Chihiro Suzuki (Japanese), Adam Conlon (English)+
-Yuka (ユカ, Yuka?) is Kohta's cousin.[5] She is also around 19 years old and planning to attend the same university as Kohta. She moves in with him at the inn after having not seen him in many years. Having had a crush on Kohta since childhood, she is in love with him,[6] and is therefore jealous of Kohta's attention to Nyū, to the point of being very irrational.+Nana: A strange Diclonius subject that was being held prisoner in the same island facility that Lucy was in. Nana's name comes from her designation as "Number 7", Nana being the Japanese word for Seven. Nana is a strange Diclonius because she is the only Diclonius that does not hate or harm any Humans although she has every right to do so. She also believes that the Chief of the Island Facility is her father and often calls Chief Kurama her "Papa".

Characters

Lucy: A strange, young, pink haired, horn headed, Diclonius, who's only goal in life is the eradication of the human race to make room for the Diclonius.

Nyuu: An alternate personality to Lucy, she is kind, gentle, and does not seem to be aware that she is able to use vectors. She is also unable to remember the use of language, only being able to say "nyuu" and "Kohta" when she is first found. When she is attacked, she regains the violent, destructive form of Lucy.

Kohta: A college boy, around nineteen years of age, who is staying in an inn that used to belong to a family member. When he first finds Lucy at the beach, she was transformed into her "Nyuu" self and he takes her into his inn, unable to discover what to do with her. Kohta feels that he has known Lucy for a very long time, however, cannot remember exactly what has happened.

Yuka: A young woman who decides to stay with Kouta in the old inn after he takes Nyuu into his home.

Nana: A strange Diclonius subject that was being held prisoner in the same island facility that Lucy was in.
