Labeled as a harem anime, Love Hina follows the trials and tribulations of an aspiring college student, Keitaro. The young man's dream to gain entrance to Tokyo University is complicated by his lack of housing. His grandmother offers to let him stay in her inn-turned-girl's-dormitory if he fulfills the duties of manager.
