Izumi Curtis

Izumi Curtis is Ed and Al's sensei. She taught them alchemy, as well as martial arts. She is very rough with them, and taught them to look out for themselves. But underneath her fierceness, she actually cares about them very much, and sometimes acts as their mother. As a result of failed human transmutation, she is very ill, but tries to hide it.
